By using current professional ink jet printers, their inks and the newest generation of papers I am able to get closer to my vision in my color prints than at any time in my life including my short excursion into the beautiful world of Dye Transfer.
Each print is made to order. Each is signed on the back and dated with the date of printing. Given the nature of the photographic process I don’t think it makes any sense to limit the number of prints I make from an image. Each time I reprint there is the possibility of a new interpretation of the image. Unlike an etching, woodblock, lithograph or silk screen where the image degrades with each print the photographic print has the potential to improve, change or be reinterpreted with each individual printing. Like playing a piece of music the room for different creative interpretations of an image is unlimited.
To keep costs down each print is sent unframed and unmatted. Shipping is free, by Priority mail. It should be no more than two weeks from the time of your order to it’s arrival.
The image sizes are approximate and run about 6X9, 8X12, and 12X18. I usually frame prints of these sizes at 11X14, 16X20 and 20X24 respectively.
